Work experience: Wimpie matriculated from Worcester Commercial High in 1979, after which she started working at Sanlam Head Office. In 1981 she joined Sanlam Brokers until 1997, when she started working for ABSA Brokers. In 2006 she accepted a position at Hermitage Brokers, but left the company in 2011 to work for ABSA Brokers again. In 2014 she rejoined the team at Hermitage.
